Walmart Supercenter

Walmart in Rt 17 in York County Virginia. Has gone down ward in and way. My experience today was the internet said it had the vacuum cleaner I wanted on hand... I drove all the way up there to find nothing on the shelf, nothing on display and a sales clerk that really didn't care if I got the vacuum cleaner I wanted or not. Passed me on to an older lady who gave it her all. At that point I said I'm going to order it off Amazon. Wish I had the older lady's name she really tried to help and felt bad when she couldn't get me the customer whatvi wanted. The other guy could have care less.

Okay so here we go. My girlfriend and I went to this Walmart against my better judgement due to the location and high crime rate. Approaching self checkout for only 6 items. Had employee directing people to self checkout that were waiting with 4 terminals not working. The employee should be working a cash register instead of directing people to self checkout in my honest opinion. Made it a point to tell me to hold on and wait. I mean what ever happened to good service? Now we pay higher price and have to be directed to a damn self checkout. Then after you pay they act like you’re a thief. Can I see your receipt? Just an all around bad vibe. Very poor service equals very poor management! Horrible Walmart I do not recommend at all!

I wanted to purchased ice cream, but the freezer didn't appeared to be working properly. There was chunks of ice all over the icecream. The refrigerator needs to be checked and serviced.

I’m updating my review. Today Walmart has changed. They organized the store. They have fancy displays. Their clothing is of better quality. They carry beautiful decorative items. It’s classy. The problem remains though. Lousy customer service at their store. They can not meet the image of Target for example. The physical sights are fine but dress the part. Carry your self well. All the employees look miserable and that ugly blue vest kills the whole concept. I gather they don’t have enough employees so the gate at the garden department is mostly locked. Now that bothers me. I decided to cut loose due to a recent incident which took them 2 months for my refund. Besides that when you call it’s out of the country where these people will be polite and accommodating but fives times I was transferred to the US all of them treated me like a second class citizen. I’m not renewing my membership. I will avoid their Supercenter but will stick with the Neighbourhood Walmart where they give me my meds fast and they are pleasant. Actually the entire store has pleasant employees.

0/10 Appearance 0/10 cleanliness 0/10 organized 0/10 checkout experience 0/10 return rate well here we go.. Every time I pull in this location I witness someone almost getting hit, ran over ,or screamed at with the windows up in the parking lot while I'm trying to walk in the "supercenter" lol. As you walk in the entrance just looks nasty ,old vending machines, dirt an grime on the windows . The front entrance just looks very unappealing. The produce second looks very unattractive , your employees place items on the shelf and island and don't care to make it look appealing to the eye KNOWING this is what us CUSTOMERS see when you first WALK IN. Then you always havea long long long line of self check out cause your registers are never open or if they are they look very outdated , but don't worrie the signs around the store don't ..line #9 is falling out , line #14 is showing wires , the countertops at the registers are nasty looking , the only update y'all can afford is new signs around the store ??? . Hardly believe this . the beauty department is nothing but items lady's are stealing from . Your home decor section is only looking good cause nobody can afford it due to high prices
